Ich würde jedem empfehlen sich dieses Colossal Edition Sammelband (vol. 1-5) zu kaufen als die Bände einzeln.Gründe:- viel viel bessere Qualität!: dickes, hochwertiges Papier (nicht diese "wabelige" Seiten wie die von Kodansha) + sehr hochwertige Druckqualität/Tinte- hier und da nette Farbseiten- alles viel größer -> tolles Leseerlebnis (macht einen kolossalen Eindruck^^)- günstiger ;)contra:- groß und schwer- sticht natürlich sonderlich heraus aus den Reihen der Mangas in StandardgrößeIch bin absolut begeistert von der Qualität und empfehle es jedem wärmstens weiter.Zu dem Inhaltlichen werde ich hier nichts weiter schreiben, da siehe Rezensionen der regulären Bände.

I was actually very hesitant to buy an omnibus, Typically larger ones over time have will damage their own spines from. Right away, the sheer amount of weight that is on this thing dwarves your average omnibus. Its HEAVY, you likely wont be reading this in bed in an upward position, but really -- I feel like that's the only down side to this. The pages are made of some kind of thicker quality paper that don't tear easy. It's definitely not laughable paper quality like the full metal alchemist omnibuses, and def better than the average manga paper. It has a sheen like, glossy quality to it, where the ink is very dark, and the backgrounds come off as very white.I like it.It certainly does not take a lot of space either, it's about the size of three manga across. In the pictures I'm showing you a comparison in size of the average manga size vs average light novel size vs omnibus size.I hope this helps you guys!

Amazing. I intended to have this as a coffee table book but its way too heavy but I love the size of it and when guests come by, they still like to flick through it. Awkward for a bookshelf though so I have yet to find an appropriate storage solution. Admittedly, I have a few of the books already and didn't actually need a collection of them but if you havent read attack on titan, it's amazing. Even if you've watched it before (also incredible) its a lot of fun to read and I highly recommend it.

I wanted to get this book for a while now. It was so expensive in stores I didn't want to pay full price. Amazon comes through and got this book way cheaper than the stores. Can't wait to read the manga. After watching the show I'm obsessed with Attack on Titan and wanted to get the mangas but getting each individual ones was going to cost a pretty penny. Glad I found out about these.

If you like the series in general this is a great addition to your manga collection. The larger size compliments the story and makes the titans feel even more menacing. It would have been nice for this to be a hard back binding to better support the books weight.

Oh yea baby, such a good edition of Attack on Titan. This thing is chunky to hold, so to expect to lug it about and read it wherever unless you want to break your arms. Super nice quality printing and binding. The colors pop and the its very clean and easy to read. Love it.

Ein sehr schönes und liebevoll gestaltetes Buch mit einer überzeugenden Botschaft. Die Geschichte des Grüffelos ist zurecht sehr bekannt und überaus erfolgreich. Es ist sowohl auf Deutsch, als auch auf Englisch sehr für Kinder im Kindergarten- oder Grundschulalter zu empfehlen. Ich habe dieses Buch speziell für den englischen Anfangsunterricht in einer Grundschule gekauft. Die Körperteile des Gruffalos und die verschiedenen Tiere, denen man in diesem Buch begegnet eigenen sich sehr gut für die Behandlung im Englischunterricht. Auch eignet sich das Buch toll für das Erstellen zugehörigen Arbeitsmaterial wie einem Bingo-Spiel oder einem Mini-Buch.

Ich wollte für die syrischen Flüchtlingskinder unserer Stadt etwas kaufen. Deutsche Bilderbücher waren zur Genüge gespendet worden, deswegen wollte ich Bilderbücher in arabischer Sprache schenken.Den Grüffalo und Das Grüffalo-Kind kenne ich durch unsere eigenen Kinder und mag die Geschichte und die Reime.Das Bilderbuch ist eigentlich ein Heft, dafür ist das Format überraschend groß.Mein Mann hat die beiden arabisch-sprachigen Bilderbuch-Hefte (Grüffalo und Grüffalo-Kind) bei der Notunterkunft abgegeben und ihm wurde versichert, dass das eine tolle Idee für die Kinder sei.Ob sich der Text auf arabisch auch reimt, kann ich nicht sagen. Aber die Bilder sind schön und die Geschichte selber ist wirklich süß!

mein sohn wird demnächst 2 und liebt dieses buch. die geschichte ist sehr einfach und reimt sich, das ende ist natürlich "happy" und eine moral gibts auch noch.... das buch hat als cover zwar nur eine etwas dickere pappseite, hält aber einiges aus (immerhin hatte das buch auch schon seine ältere schwester "in verwendung"). die farben sind wirklich prächtig, außen auf der U1 ist auch ein goldener aufdruck, der schön glänzt und glitzert (gefällt meinen 2 kleinen auch). ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Ein wundervolles und sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Buch; meine Kinder können nicht genug davon kriegen :-) Die Bücher von Julia Donaldson und Axel Scheffler kann ich grundsätzlich alle empfehlen. Alle Bücher sind auf ihre eigene Art und Weise lustig und unterhaltsam, aber nie dümmlich. Meinen Kinder hat vor allem gefallen, wie sich die kleine Maus immer wieder schlau aus den Fängen der Tiere rettet. Fazit: unbedingt lesenswert!

Great children’s book! Lovely story with cute pictures. The version in our native language we have had for quite some time and we started getting in touch with English, so this book is a great start!

Einfach genial. Irgendwie sehe ich den Gruffalo nicht getrennt von seinem Kind und kann mich gar nicht so entscheiden, welches Buch mir besser gefällt. Ich hatte den Gruffalo und sein Kind zuerst bei einer englischsprachigen Freundin gesehen und ihn mir immerhin über 5 Jahre gemerkt. Beides waren die ersten Pappbücher unserer jetzt 2jährigen Tochter. Sie liebt den Rhythmus, die Sprache scheint ihr egal zu sein, wir lesen diese beiden Bücher am allerhäufigsten vor. Ich finde die Übersetzung etwas gestolpert, deswegen gibt es bei uns die englische Version, auch wenn wir sonst keinen "Englischunterricht" betreiben, aber das deutsche wuppt einfach nicht so toll.

Die kleine Maus trifft hungrige Tiere (Fuchs, Eule, Schlange), die sie auffressen wollen. Die Maus behauptet, sie sei mit dem gefährlichen "Gruffalo" verabredet, und kommt so immer wieder davon. Bis der Gruffalo tatsächlich auftaucht... Liebevoll bis ins letzte Detail gezeichnet und exzellent gereimt. Obwohl die Texte ziemlich komplex sind, begreifen auch Kinder, die noch wenig Englisch verstehen, an Hand der Bilder schnell, worum es geht. Repetitive Elemente mit kleinen Variationen sind ideal zum Lernen."The Gruffalo" macht einfach Spaß und fesselt auch Kinder, die sonst schlecht zuhören. Das stabile Pappformat ist ideal für häufigen Gebrauch und zum Herumgeben. Empfehlung: dazu das Song-Book mit Kassette kaufen, Imelda Staunton verleiht dem Gruffalo oscar-würdigen Klangcharakter!

Total spannendes und realitätsnahes Buch. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen, der/die sich gerade mit verschiedenen Kulturen bzw. Religionen auseinandersetzen möchte. Durch die große Zuwanderung in den letzten Jahren hat mich das Thema Integration und der Islam total getriggert. Ich lege nicht so viel Wert auf öffentliche Medien und wollte mir einfach mal selbst ein Bild und eine (kritische) Meinung bilden. Durch eine kurdische Bekannte, die sich damals in einer ähnlichen Situation befand, bin ich auf dieses Buch aufmerksam geworden. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht!

Für jeden, der sich dafür interessiert, was sich hinter den Fassaden des tollen neuen US-Fernsehens abspielt. Macht aber sehr viel mehr Spaß, wenn man die Serien wirklich alle gesehen hat.

hab genau das bekommen, was ich bestellt habe. und das in der angegebene Zeit und mit der angegebene Preis. also alles hat gepasst.

Gut recherchiertes und geschriebenes Buch. Leider hat Brett Martin wohl den grössten Teil seiner Zeit bei "the wire" verbracht.Er behandelt "Breaking Bad" auf knapp 14 Seiten und "the wire" auf über 140 Seiten. Sehr enttäuschend für einen "Breaking Bad" Fan, wie mich, der sich nie für "the wire" interessiert hat. Auch unverständlich, da Brett Martin selbst, "Breaking Bad", als die vielleicht beste Show der Welt bezeichnet....
